Privacy Policy

Actonics ("we", "us") is a distributed senior AI engineering team serving US companies. This policy describes what data this website collects, what we do with it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect very little, we use cookie-free analytics, and we never sell or share your personal information for advertising.

What we collect

Information you send us

If you email info@actonics.com or describe your workflow to us, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, email address, company, and a description of your project. We use it only to respond to you and, if we start working together, to run the engagement. We do not add you to mailing lists you didn't ask for.

Call bookings

Intro calls are scheduled through Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email, and the details you enter, and shares them with us so we can hold the meeting. Calendly processes that data under its own privacy policy.

Analytics

We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-first tool, to understand aggregate site traffic: which pages are visited, where visitors come from, and which links are clicked. Umami uses no cookies, stores no personal data, and does not track you across sites or devices. IP addresses are not stored. Because no personal data is collected, no cookie banner is required — and you won't find one here.

What we don't do

• No advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind.
• No selling, renting, or sharing of personal information with third parties for their marketing.
• No cookies for tracking purposes.
• Nothing you submit through this site is used to train AI models.

Client and prospect data

Documents and data shared with us during an evaluation, pilot, or engagement are governed by the NDA and data processing agreement (DPA) signed for that engagement — those terms are stricter than this policy and take precedence. As stated in our engagement terms: client data is never used to train public models, and systems can be deployed inside your own cloud environment or on-premise so data never leaves your infrastructure.

Data retention

Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to maintain our business relationship. Aggregate analytics data contains no personal information and is retained indefinitely. Engagement data is retained or deleted per the terms of the applicable agreement.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email info@actonics.com and we will handle it promptly. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA under GDPR or California under CCPA), you may have additional statutory rights; we honor such requests regardless of jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted here rather than applied silently.
