Terms of Use
Effective date: July 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Actonics website at actonics.com. By using the site, you accept them. They cover the website only — consulting and engineering engagements are governed by separately signed agreements, not by this page.
Informational content
Content on this site — including articles, use-case descriptions, and statistics — is provided for general information. It reflects our honest professional judgment at the time of writing but is not engineering, legal, or financial advice for your specific situation. Decisions about your systems and workflows should be made with advice tailored to your circumstances.
Pricing shown on this site
We publish our pricing deliberately: the 30-day production pilot is a fixed $9,500, production builds typically run $80,000–$250,000, and reliability retainers start at $5,000/month. These figures are accurate as our standard offer at the effective date above. The binding price for any engagement is the one in your signed proposal or statement of work, which will always be agreed before work begins.
Engagements
Any pilot, production build, or retainer is governed by a signed agreement (proposal, statement of work, NDA, and DPA as applicable). Where those documents conflict with this page, the signed documents control. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer to provide services.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and branding of this site belong to Actonics. You may quote or cite it with attribution and a link. For client engagements, IP ownership is the opposite of most vendors' fine print and worth stating here too: clients own all deliverables — code, prompts, eval datasets, and documentation — as set out in the engagement agreement.
Third-party links
The site links to third-party resources (research publications, scheduling, analytics providers). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The website is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available but make no warranty that it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the website itself. This limitation applies to the website only; liability under client engagements is addressed in the relevant signed agreement.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves; changes take effect when posted here with an updated effective date.
